Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Translate quantum innovations into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing research (IBM/Google/Rigetti experience preferred)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design
- Proven track record in quantum error mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience securing government research funding
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
