Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research protocols targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Lead 15-member R&D team in developing error-corrected qubit architectures
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Translate quantum algorithms into practical applications for cryptography, logistics, and medicine
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum summits including IEEE QCE
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in quantum computing research with published Nature/Science papers
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams of 10+
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong knowledge of quantum security protocols (QKD, PQC)
