Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability optimization
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and build world-class quantum computing team
- Develop roadmaps for quantum supremacy implementation in 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Track record of securing government or industry research funding
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams of 10+ members
