Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and complex simulations
- Secure and manage $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish top-tier papers in Nature/Science journals with 100+ citations
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information science
- Partner with IBM, Google, and Microsoft on quantum interoperability standards
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of quantum algorithm development with 50+ published papers
- Expertise in superconducting qubits, ion traps, and topological computing
- Secured $3M+ in competitive research funding (NSF/DOE/EU)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
