Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in cryptography, AI optimization, and material science

- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and secure major funding
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing adoption in enterprise environments
- Secure patents and intellectual property for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and error correction
- Demonstrated success in securing $1M+ in research funding
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers and technical teams
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and hybrid quantum-classical systems
