Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and topological qubit technologies
- Design error-correction frameworks achieving 99.99% fidelity for fault-tolerant operations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop optimization algorithms for quantum advantage in logistics and financial modeling
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography implementation
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals while driving 3+ patent applications annually
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record developing cryogenic quantum systems below 20mK
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware control languages
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC) and GPU acceleration
