Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Research and implement novel error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-qubit coherence times
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise applications
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for quantum systems
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum threats and security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
