Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to maintain system reliability
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Create roadmaps for quantum technology adoption across industries
- Optimize quantum algorithms for practical business applications
- Research emerging quantum hardware developments and assess commercial viability
- Document quantum system specifications and implementation guidelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or architecture development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conferences
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
