Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with 99.99% fidelity
- Integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems in hybrid environments
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Pioneer new quantum applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants and partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
