Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks enabling fault-tolerant operations
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Collaborate with AI/ML specialists to optimize quantum algorithm performance
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures or topological quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Clearance for government-level quantum security projects
