Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Solutions at the forefront of computational evolution. We're pioneering quantum-resistant algorithms and next-gen encryption protocols to secure 2026's digital infrastructure. As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design fault-tolerant quantum systems that redefine computational boundaries. Our Austin-based R&D hub offers unparalleled resources for developing breakthrough quantum applications.
This role requires deep expertise in quantum mechanics and practical implementation of quantum algorithms. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and MIT-affiliated researchers to build scalable quantum processors capable of solving problems currently intractable for classical computers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for multi-qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud infrastructure
- Simulate quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence enhancement
- Document quantum system architectures for patent applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, etc.)
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
