Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop error correction protocols for industrial quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Prototype quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Establish quantum security frameworks for 2026-era data ecosystems
- Secure $10M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Publish 3+ white papers on quantum computing advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing DoE or NSF quantum research funding
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
