Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning and cryptography
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Conduct research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance quantum processor development
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research findings
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum computing architectures or algorithms
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Published research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
