Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Create hybrid classical-quantum software interfaces and APIs
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for 2026 security standards
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Present quantum solutions to government and enterprise clients
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging algorithms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in quantum cryptography (NIST PQC standards)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
