Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Implement error correction frameworks with <99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration pipelines
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum symposiums
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Strong background in quantum error correction theory
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD projects
