Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit technologies and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex computational challenges in finance, cryptography, and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing quantum hardware/software integration
- Establish quantum system performance benchmarks and optimization frameworks
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum computing) for commercial applications
- Collaborate with product teams to define quantum computing roadmaps and implementation strategies
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex R&D projects
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex quantum phenomena
