Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization problems in logistics and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Conduct research on quantum error correction and topological qubit implementations
- Create roadmaps for quantum-cloud hybrid computing ecosystems
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware configurations
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum technology summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Familiarity with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and cloud platforms
- Experience leading R&D teams with $10M+ budgets
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Published work on quantum supremacy demonstrations preferred
