What you'll achieve:
You'll architect quantum algorithms that outperform classical systems by 1000x, lead a team of 15 quantum physicists and software engineers, and publish research in Nature Quantum Information. Your work will directly contribute to our 2027 goal of achieving quantum supremacy in drug discovery.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuits with 99.9% fidelity for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip architectures
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Present quarterly breakthroughs to C-suite investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Publication in top-tier quantum journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor interfaces
- Track record of scaling quantum systems from 50 to 1000+ qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
