Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to solve optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic systems)
- Collaborate with industry partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present quantum breakthroughs to C-suite executives and venture capitalists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or hardware architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or IEEE quantum proceedings
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
