Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computing architectures
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum error correction and neural network optimization
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Secure federal and private research grants for emerging quantum applications
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Develop patent-pending quantum encryption protocols for post-2025 security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred)
