Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI acceleration using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals with 5+ annual publications
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum-resistant space communication protocols
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction techniques for real-world deployment
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Present findings at top-tier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, ICML)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development with superconducting qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor network simulations
- Published peer-reviewed papers in quantum/AI journals (minimum 3)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization tools
- Experience with D-Wave, IBM Q Experience, or Rigetti platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
