Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 24/7 nursing support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or compact state
- BSN degree from accredited institution (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- English proficiency (IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 100 minimum)
- Ability to work 24-hour rotating shifts (part-time schedule)
- Strong communication skills with cultural sensitivity
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR systems
