Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment across hospital facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on diagnostic devices
- Train clinical staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols
- Document service activities and maintain equipment inventory databases
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment upgrades and parts procurement
- Ensure compliance with FDA and JCAHO regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years experience with medical equipment repair (MRI, CT, Ultrasound)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between facilities
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with mechanical systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months
