Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard company data.
- Configure and troubleshoot workstations and mobile devices running Windows and macOS.
- Monitor server health and performance, escalating critical issues to senior administrators promptly.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software updates across the organization.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures to maintain a knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (H1B, L1, or other applicable work visas) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic routing protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
