Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, security protocols, and enterprise applications.
- Assist in the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure and data backups.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits to protect company data and user privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and the ability to obtain required visa sponsorship.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and database management (SQL).
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
