Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, peppers, and melons
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, irrigation systems) with proper training
- Maintain crop health through pest/disease monitoring and organic treatment application
- Perform field maintenance including soil preparation and weed control
- Adhere to all USDA and Department of Labor H2A program guidelines
- Assist with post-harvest sorting and packing operations
- Participate in safety briefings and workplace compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- No prior farm experience necessary – training provided
- Reliable transportation to farm location
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation
