Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established schedules.
- Maintain field hygiene by removing weeds, rocks, and debris from the work area.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and agricultural guidelines to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Load, unload, and transport harvested goods to designated storage or processing areas.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or possess a valid H2A agricultural visa documentation.
- Ability to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and humidity.
- Physically fit with the stamina to perform repetitive tasks for long periods.
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions and teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not strictly required.
