Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) under supervision
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (lettuce, onions, potatoes)
- Maintain irrigation systems and monitor crop health
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers per EPA guidelines
- Assist in packing and processing harvested goods
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Participate in daily training sessions and skill development
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Basic English communication skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to work 6-8 hours/day in outdoor conditions
- No prior farming experience necessary (training provided)
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to farm location
- Willingness to commit to 12-week seasonal program
