Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and safety
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with business objectives
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and improving KPIs
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ employees
- Proficiency in WMS systems and logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
