Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will be the bridge between strategy and execution. You will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of our business operations, ensuring that our daily activities are efficient, effective, and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day activities of the operations department to ensure smooth workflow and high efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement strategies to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed operational reports, analyze KPIs, and present data-driven insights to senior management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
