Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement strategic improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain partners, and manage stock discrepancies.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare operational budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide detailed reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and cost reduction.
