Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-end flow of manufacturing and logistics processes to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in production lines and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage inventory levels and procurement schedules.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor operational budgets, forecasting costs and identifying areas for cost savings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights or weekends, to meet production deadlines.
