Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals to drive growth and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a cross-functional team to ensure high performance, safety, and morale.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce operational costs.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and products.
- Budget Administration: Create and manage annual operational budgets, forecasting expenses and monitoring variances.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reporting: Produce accurate, timely reports on operational KPIs and present findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving operational bottlenecks.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to various sites and off-site meetings as needed.
