Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational workflow across warehouse, transportation, and fulfillment divisions
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies using lean methodologies
- Manage 15+ direct reports through performance coaching and strategic talent development
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Coordinate vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead budget forecasting and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics
- Proven expertise in process optimization and workflow redesign
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/JDE) and analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams through change initiatives
