Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, and quality control
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and manage 15+ operational staff through performance metrics and development plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service departments to align operational goals
- Generate performance reports and present actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years in logistics/distribution
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Experience managing unionized workforce preferred
- Advanced analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Bilingual English/Spanish required for cross-border operations
