- Develop/implement SOPs to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs by 15%+
- Lead cross-functional teams in achieving KPIs for safety, quality, and delivery timelines
- Analyze operational data using ERP systems to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for transportation and warehousing services
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/distribution
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs and improving efficiency metrics
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 15+ employees
- Professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma) highly desirable
- Expert knowledge of Florida logistics regulations and Jacksonville port operations
