Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and high efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and staff, conducting regular performance reviews and training.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with company goals and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage inventory levels, supply chain relationships, and vendor negotiations to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality control standards.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including sales, finance, and human resources, to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proven track record of leading teams and successfully managing operational budgets.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
