Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehouse, distribution, and transportation functions
- Develop/implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage 12+ person team through performance metrics and coaching
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with procurement, sales, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Analyze operational data using KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience
- Strong proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics and warehouse operations
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced Excel/Power BI skills for data analysis
- Experience managing union/non-union teams
