Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and optimize daily warehouse operations to ensure 99.5% order accuracy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance metrics and coaching
- Implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational KPIs by 20% annually
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct weekly cycle counts with zero discrepancies
- Oversee safety compliance programs and maintain OSHA standards across all facilities
- Collaborate with procurement and transportation teams to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Analyze operational data using Power BI to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in warehouse/distribution management with P&L responsibility
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean MVR for occasional site visits
