Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inventory management, logistics coordination, and vendor relationships
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operational specialists and warehouse staff
- Analyze operational KPIs and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT) to align operational goals with business objectives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Manage annual operational budget ($2M+) and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations/supply chain management with team leadership
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum)
- Advanced proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments
