Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including inventory management, warehouse efficiency, and distribution networks
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of 15+ professionals
- Analyze KPIs to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic operational initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal terms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive operations management experience
- Proven track record in supply chain optimization and process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Exceptional leadership abilities with team development experience
- Knowledge of OSHA and logistics regulations
- PMP or Six Sigma certification highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
