Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations including facilities management, inventory control, and vendor relationships
- Manage executive calendars, coordinate complex travel arrangements, and handle confidential correspondence
- Implement and maintain efficient administrative workflows for HR, procurement, and expense reporting
- Lead office events and team-building initiatives while fostering a positive work environment
- Serve as primary liaison for building management, IT support, and security protocols
- Develop and manage office budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation
- Coordinate onboarding processes and maintain comprehensive HR documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (5+ years experience acceptable)
- Proven experience in office administration with at least 3 years in managerial role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- Demonstrated experience with vendor negotiation and contract management
- Proficiency in Detroit's local business ecosystem preferred
