Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and assistance under the supervision of RNs.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to strict medical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate Degree in Nursing preferred for RNs; Diploma/CNA certification for entry-level roles).
- Current RN, LPN, or CNA license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure in Illinois).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
