Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 10-15 night shift team members, including scheduling and performance reviews
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean warehousing principles
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with shipping/receiving departments
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
- Resolve escalated operational issues during overnight shifts
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift oversight
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
