Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 50+ night shift warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution operations with 99.9% accuracy standards
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (transportation, procurement, quality control) to ensure seamless operations
- Conduct daily performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement
- Manage WMS system operations and ensure real-time inventory accuracy
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Proven track record of leading night shift operations in high-volume environments
- Advanced proficiency in WMS (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and strong knowledge of safety protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Expertise in lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma Yellow Belt)
- Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
