Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 person night shift team including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee inventory control systems and ensure 99.8% accuracy in receiving, picking, and shipping operations
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate cross-functional workflow with day shift and transportation teams
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Generate daily productivity reports and address operational bottlenecks
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in 24/7 operations
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Associate degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
