Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Perform 24/7 monitoring of IT infrastructure and network systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve incoming technical support tickets with a focus on customer satisfaction and speed.
- Security Checks: Conduct routine security audits and access control procedures to maintain a secure operating environment.
- Reporting: Generate detailed shift reports regarding system status, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams and management to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Deployment: Assist in the deployment of software patches and hardware upgrades during low-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or technical operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows/Linux environments and network protocols.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a shift-based role.
