What You Will Do
As our Night Shift Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our technical infrastructure and client support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Proactively monitor server performance, network traffic, and security alerts during off-peak hours.
- Ticket Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software technical issues reported by internal teams and clients.
- User Assistance: Provide clear, patient, and accurate technical guidance to users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Incident Management: Document all technical incidents and resolutions in the CRM system, ensuring accurate ticket closure.
- Escalation: Identify complex issues requiring morning-shift specialists and hand over tickets with full context.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assist in the physical setup and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and logically.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
