Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Issues: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems for internal teams and clients via remote support and on-site visits.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server logs and system performance to ensure 99.9% uptime and prevent downtime.
- Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize incoming support tickets using our ticketing system (Zendesk/ServiceNow).
- Data Security: Adhere to strict security protocols and data privacy regulations to protect sensitive information.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams to hand off unresolved issues and ensure seamless continuity of service.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or a related IT role.
- Availability: Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems; knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS) is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
