Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts during off-peak hours.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless operations and knowledge transfer.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
